We're here to cater to both inexperienced and experienced reptile keepers. That being said you must keep a check on yourself and be aware of what level keeper you are. If you'd Like something easy to care for maybe a corn snake or a garter snake is good for you, but if you want something that tends to take a little more care but is still hard to go wrong with. Then you should try a ball python or something similar. For more experienced keepers. I'll leave the choice in your hands.
Commitment you must recognize.
I want to point out to those of you who may not realize this. Reptiles are usually a long term commitment. Most of the short lived ones still live somewhere around 7 years and the ones that live longer can be anywhere from 12 years to 35 years and so on. With tortoises they can live upwards of 100 years so you must keep this in mind when making a purchase. We want our animals to live a long happy and healthy life, and to do so we must ensure that you are well informed. Make sure to check out a care sheet either online or you can purchase one in any local pet store for most animals. That being said you can also google any care sheet you'd like to see. I hope you can give one of our reptiles a nice home to live the rest of his or her life in.

For those of you who may think that most reptiles do not make good companions I have a few things I would like to point out.
Number one there is no better feeling than having an animal that completely depends on you for everything. That includes the right humidity heat, and if necessary UVB or UVA lighting. Number two you can take most reptiles anywhere you go as far as relocation goes. Excluding Florida for some species! In some states you may have to be licensed to own large constrictors as well. Number three some of the lizards act like dogs i.e. They crave attention. This mostly relates to Tegu's and Bearded Dragons, but others can be socialized to act the same way if you take the time to do it. Number four you never have to worry about your animal going into the highway, or putting itself in any kind of danger because it should be in a sturdy enclosure with a lock at all times
